Staci Custus joined JCIE/USA in January 2020 as a program associate, focusing on global health programs and online communications. Previously, she worked in the marketing department of Routledge Press, where she assisted in online promotions for recently published textbooks, library monographs, and trade books. Shortly after, Ms. Custus taught English at several elementary and junior high schools for three years in Kagoshima Prefecture through the JET Program.

At JCIE/USA, Ms. Custus primarily works on its global health programs including Friends of the Global Fund, Japan. She also assists with the day-to-day running of the office and management of JCIE’s web presence.

Ms. Custus was born and raised in New York State and attended Binghamton University, where she obtained a BA in English with a focus on Creative Writing and Global Culture.
