2022 Japanese Young Political Leaders Virtual Exchange

Throughout the month of March 2022, eight young leaders from Japan participated in a virtual program as part of the 2022 Japanese delegation of the US-Japan Young Political Leaders Exchange Program, which was co-sponsored by JCIE and the American Council for Young Political Leaders (ACYPL).

The agenda for the 2022 Exchange included meetings hosted by government officials, reporters, and policy experts. Topics for discussion included US-Japan relations, the role of the media in democratic countries, domestic US politics, and addressing the challenges of an aging population.
