The 38th annual meeting of the UK-Japan 21st Century Group met virtually due to travel restrictions in both countries as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Twenty members from the United Kingdom and 27 members from Japan participated in the meeting.
During the two sessions, politicians, journalists, businesspeople, and scholars discussed global health resilience, security and defense, domestic and global economic security, and the latest political and economic developments in each country.
