The Executive Committee on Global Health and Human Security is a unique public-private platform that facilitates the Japanese government’s policymaking on global health and public-private collaboration in that field. It is a central element of JCIE’s program on Global Health and Human Security.
As part of the committee’s work, it commissions various working groups to produce recommendations on specific themes. This report presents the findings of the Working Group on Challenges in Global Health and Japan’s Contributions. It was submitted to the Japanese and Italian governments in January 2009 for consideration for the 2009 G8 Summit agenda.
