JCIE/Japan's Momoko Abe Interviewed on Ageing by NHK

JCIE/Japan Program Officer Momoko Abe was in Bangkok, Thailand, for the 16th International Federation on Ageing Conference, where she led a panel on “Removing Barriers to Foster Age-Friendly Environment” featuring winners of our Healthy Aging Prize for Asian Innovation (HAPI). During the panel, representatives from Boonmerit Media, the Foundation for Older Person’s Development (FOPDEV), and HelpAge International in Vietnam, all spoke about their work to foster age-friendly communities

NHK WORLD JAPAN NEWS interviewed Momoko, who highlighted the rapid rate of aging in Asia and the value of information and knowledge sharing.
