Intern, JCIE/USA
Fangjia “Alice” Liu joined JCIE/USA in February 2024 as an intern. She is working to support the programs of JCIE/USA by assisting with logistical tasks and background research and hopes to learn more about international communication and collaboration.
Alice was born in Beijing, China, and later moved to Hong Kong before coming to the United States at eleven. She is currently a freshman at New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Study, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chinese and Japanese history and politics.
The Japan Center for International Exchange consists of two independent sister organizations.
JCIE Japan is one of Japan’s leading nonprofit, nonpartisan foreign affairs institutes.
JCIE USA is a US nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening US-Japan relations and collaboration on shared challenges.
For half a century, the two organizations have been working together to facilitate policy dialogues, research, and exchange on key issues affecting peace and prosperity in our two countries, the Indo-Pacific region and the world.
