Ella joined JCIE in August 2025 as an intern, providing support across JCIE’s various programs. Prior to working with JCIE, Ella has worked under Ohio State University’s East Asian Studies Center, Legal Aid of Southeast and Central Ohio, and Community Refugee & Immigration Services. She spent a year living in Tokyo as an exchange student at Waseda University and is excited to contribute to US-Japan collaboration.

Ms. Gould grew up in Ohio and received a BA in International Relations and Japanese in May 2025 from the Ohio State University. She is currently based in New York and is looking forward to starting her career in global affairs.
