Koko Suzuki joined JCIE USA in March 2026 as an intern, where she supports communications initiatives, conducts program-related research, and assists with operational coordination across JCIE’s diverse portfolio of programs. Prior to joining JCIE, she worked at the Office of the Permanent Observer of the Inter-Parliamentary Union at the United Nations, where she supported multilateral engagement and parliamentary diplomacy initiatives. She is passionate about foreign policy, diplomacy, and strengthening U.S.–Japan relations.

Ms. Suzuki was raised in Tokyo, Japan, and is currently pursuing a MA in International Relations at New York University. She recently graduated from the University of California, Irvine, where she earned a BA in Criminology, Law and Society with a minor in Political Science. She is currently based in New York and looks forward to building her career in global affairs.
