Ms. Takahashi joined JCIE in July 2023, following a long career at Mitsubishi Corporation. She worked for Mitsubishi Corporation in the United States and was involved in investing in, developing, and operating various independent power producers in the United States and other countries for more than 20 years. She also supported the work of Mitsubishi executives in their engagement in international conferences, such as compiling recommendations for the Shanghai International Business Leaders’ Advisory Council and serving as the principal staff overseeing the compilation of recommendations commissioned by the government to be submitted to APEC from the Japan Committee of the APEC Business Advisory Council.

Ms. Takahashi is a graduate of Keio University’s Faculty of English Literature, and of Keio’s Institute for Journalism, Media & Communication Studies (now the Institute of Media Communications and Research). She also completed the INSEAD International Executive Programme.
