Democracy for the Future | Our Role, Japan’s Role—Thought Leaders Seminar

Twenty-five thought leaders from Japan met with Derek Mitchell, president of the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI), for discussions on the achievements and challenges of NDI, the state of democracy and democracy assistance, and the role that Japan might play in those areas. The meeting, held at at the International House of Japan, was conducted as part of JCIE’s program on Expanding Support for Democratic Governance.
