JCIE, in partnership with the Japan Women’s Leadership Initiative (JWLI) of the Fish Family Foundation, has disbursed a second round of grants for nonprofit organizations in Japan that have been doing important work to help those populations disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

These grants have already provided immediate assistance to nonprofits working closely with refugees, single mothers, and at-risk youth, and the second wave will go to organizations supporting  these and other vulnerable groups including human trafficking victims, survivors of domestic violence, and those receiving palliative care.
