Established in 1968, the US-Japan Parliamentary Exchange program is the longest-running exchange between members of the US Congress and the Japanese Diet. It is designed to enhance dialogue between US and Japanese political leaders on bilateral and global policy issues with the goal of strengthening bilateral cooperation on issues of shared concern. The list below includes all Diet members who participated in delegations to the United States in the first two decades of Japanese delegations to the United States.
All Diet members below were members of the House of Representatives except those marked by a (*), who were members of the House of Councillors.
