JCIE is now accepting applications for our 2024 US Congressional Staff Exchange Program to select a bipartisan group of up to Congressional staffers who will participate in a week-long study tour in Japan.

2026 Japanese Young Political Leaders Delegation to US

The 2026 US-Japan Young Political Leaders Exchange Program brought the 31st Japanese delegation to the US, providing an opportunity for them to meet and engage in discussions with government officials, political campaign committees, policy experts, and business representatives.

UK-Japan 21st Century Group | 42nd Conference

The 42nd annual meeting of the UK-Japan 21st Century Group met in Yamanashi, Japan, bringing together leaders from various sectors to discuss critical issues facing bilateral relations and global geopolitics, including macroeconomic challenges, the two countries’ roles in upholding stability and the rule of law, space and cybersecurity, global health, and other key issues.

US Congressional Staff Exchange | 2024 Delegation

The 2024 US Congressional Staff Exchange Program gave 7 Congressional staffers the chance to travel Japan, where they met with Japanese leaders across politics, media, and academia.

US-Japan Parliamentary Exchange

The US-Japan Parliamentary Exchange Program brings members of the US Congress and Japanese Diet to one another’s countries for a series of intensive dialogues with leaders from a broad range of fields. Participants in the US-Japan Parliamentary Exchange Program have risen to influential positions in their respective countries with an enhanced understanding of the US-Japan relationship.

UK-Japan 21st Century Group

The UK-Japan 21st Century Group was launched in 1985 at the joint recommendation of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Japanese Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone. It is a coalition of private sector, public sector, and civil society leaders from both countries that aims to promote dialogue and cooperation between the two countries.

Japanese-German Forum | 33rd Forum

The 33rd Japanese-German Forum was held in Berlin in December 2025, bringing together Japanese and German politicians, policy experts, business leaders, and journalists under the theme of “World Order in Upheaval.”

US-Japan Legislative Exchanges with the Mt. Fuji Dialogue Delegation

JCIE USA helped facilitate legislative exchanges between US members of Congress and the members of the 2025 Mt. Fuji Dialogue delegation during the delegation’s annual visit to Washington DC.

The US-Japan Women Leaders Dialogue brought a bipartisan duo of state legislators to Japan for briefings and roundtables on US-Japan trade and security ties and on women’s empowerment in politics and business in Japan.
