The Asia Pacific Agenda Project (APAP) was launched as a celebration of JCIE’s 25th anniversary with three major goals in mind: to allow key personnel of independent policy-oriented research institutions to compare views, to assist in the institutional development of such research bodies, and to aid the development of a strong network among independent institutions.

Korea-Japan Forum | 31st Meeting

The 31st Korea-Japan Forum, held in Seoul, brought together participants to discuss domestic political shifts and bilateral relations, economic and security issues facing the two countries, and the latest geopolitical developments in East Asia. The event also featured a Junior Forum for youths from the two countries. The 8th Japan-Korea Forum Award was also held to celebrate those to made significant contributions to Japan-Korea friendship and development.

At the 31st Japanese-German Forum, held in Berlin, Germany, Japanese and German politicians, policy experts, business leaders, and journalists discussed key bilateral topics—from global warming, accepting immigrants, addressing low birth rates and aging societies, and security expenditures, to the implications of the ongoing Ukrainian Crisis, and bilateral cooperation to strengthen economic security.
