The Asahi Shimbun GLOBE+ published an article based on an interview with two women state representatives, Rep. Tram Ngyuen from Massachusetts (Democrat) and Rep. Laura Williams from Kansas (Republican), who visited Japan under JCIE’s US-Japan Women Leaders Dialogue.

The article introduces the representatives’ backgrounds and paths towards entering politics, and illustrates their efforts to work across the aisle to advance the interests of their constituents.
