The JCIE/USA Executive Roundtable is a private discussion series addressing key issues affecting the United States and Japan. The sessions feature leading perspectives from the United States and Japan and take place in an intimate, off-the-record setting where participants can gain insight, raise questions, and exchange ideas with one another. Participants include leaders from the private and public sectors, including our program partners, sponsors, and alumni, and a select group of experts and practitioners who help enrich the conversation.

JCIE USA will host an intimate fireside chat featuring two leading experts on China from Japan to examine the latest insights from Japan on the state of US-China relations as well as the implications of the outcomes of the Trump-Xi summit, expected to take place on September 24 in Washington DC, for Japan, US-Japan relations, and the allies’ national and economic security.

Japan-Korea Forum | 34th Meeting
The 34th Japan-Korea Forum brought together politicians, scholars, journalists, and business representatives in Tokyo to discuss key issues facing Japan and South Korea. Building on last year’s 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between the two nations, the Forum this year looked ahead to the next chapter of Japan-Korea relations.
