The 20th Japanese–German Forum was held on October 4–5, 2011, bringing 36 participants from both countries together in Tokyo. During the forum, the participants discussed key issues pertinent to the bilateral relationship.
Rediscovering Common Bonds | Opening up Future Possibilities through Stage and Video

On November 24, 2014, the first seminar in the Rediscovering Common Bonds among Japan, China, and Korea series was held under the theme “Opening up Future Possibilities through Stage and Video.” The seminar invited the participation of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean artists and college students who have had experience working collaboratively to produce theatrical works and films.

This second workshop was designed to solicit input regarding the region’s likely reaction to the proposed US-Japan Strategic Assistance concept from leaders in the United States, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Australia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Thailand, and to assess the regional perceptions of the current and future threat to regional stability that is posed by major disasters.
