Korea-Japan Strategic Dialogue 2016

At a recent meeting of the Korea-Japan Forum, it was suggested that a smaller group of key opinion leaders be convened to examine the issues in greater depth. As a result, JCIE and the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) held the inaugural “Korea-Japan Strategic Dialogue” in Tokyo on June 8–10, 2016.

ASEAN-Japan Young Leaders Workshop | ASEAN-Japan Cooperation: A Foundation for East Asian Community

In collaboration with the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, Jakarta (CSIS) and the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, JCIE conducted a workshop aimed at promoting cooperation between Japan and the ASEAN region on issues of shared concern by building mutual understanding and personal networks between emerging political leaders in the two regions.
