Korea-Japan Strategic Dialogue 2016
At a recent meeting of the Korea-Japan Forum, it was suggested that a smaller group of key opinion leaders be convened to examine the issues in greater depth. As a result, JCIE and the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) held the inaugural “Korea-Japan Strategic Dialogue” in Tokyo on June 8–10, 2016.

ASEAN-Japan Young Leaders Workshop | ASEAN-Japan Cooperation: A Foundation for East Asian Community
In collaboration with the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, Jakarta (CSIS) and the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, JCIE conducted a workshop aimed at promoting cooperation between Japan and the ASEAN region on issues of shared concern by building mutual understanding and personal networks between emerging political leaders in the two regions.

The 20th Japanese–German Forum was held on October 4–5, 2011, bringing 36 participants from both countries together in Tokyo. During the forum, the participants discussed key issues pertinent to the bilateral relationship.
UK-Japan 21st Century Group | 29th Conference
The 29th annual meeting of the UK-Japan 21st Century Group convened in Tokyo on May 23–26, 2012. Fifty senior Japanese and British leaders engaged in a series of roundtable discussions on issues such as the domestic and regional developments in each country, international development cooperation, and other opportunities for UK-Japan cooperation.
